1. Introduction
By accessing this website or booking and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking or using our services.
2. Services Provided
Love Your Clubs provides golf club cleaning, detailing, cosmetic touch-up services, and selected pickup and drop-off services within our advertised service area.
Our services may include, where applicable:
- precision cleaning
- grip refresh
- buff and polish
- ultrasonic cleaning where applicable
- optional paint and line fill touch-up for faded numbers, letters and markings
- selected restoration and cosmetic refinishing services where separately agreed
Service offerings, inclusions and pricing may change from time to time.
3. Bookings and Payment
Bookings may be made online, by phone, or through direct communication with us.
Customers may submit a “Get a Quote” or “Book a Detailing” form through our website. Submission of a form does not guarantee acceptance of a booking until confirmed by us.
Payment terms will be advised at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance payable on completion, return, or drop-off of the equipment.
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, reschedule, or amend a booking where necessary due to weather, operational constraints, safety concerns, logistics, item condition, or other unforeseen circumstances.
4. Pickup and Delivery
Pickup and drop-off services are available only within our advertised service area and at our discretion.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- provide the correct address and contact details
- ensure clubs or other items are ready for collection at the agreed time
- ensure safe and reasonable access to the pickup or drop-off location
We are not responsible for delays or missed collections caused by incorrect details, access issues, unsafe conditions, or the customer not being available at the agreed time.
If you are outside our normal service area, please contact us to discuss whether we can assist.
5. Pricing
Prices for our services may be provided through our website, quote form, booking form, direct communication, or as otherwise advised by us.
Customers may complete the “Get a Quote” or “Book a Detailing” form to receive indicative or confirmed pricing based on the type of service, quantity of items, condition of the items, pickup location, and any optional extras selected.
Pricing may change from time to time without notice. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in service scope, item condition, labour required, travel requirements, materials, or promotional offers.
Love Your Clubs may, at its discretion, offer promotional pricing, discount codes, special offers, bundled pricing, or agreed custom rates. Any such discount or special pricing will only apply where it has been expressly approved by Love Your Clubs and applied in accordance with the relevant offer terms.
Where a special code or promotional discount has been provided by Love Your Clubs , it must be entered or disclosed at the time of quoting or booking unless otherwise agreed. Discount codes and promotional offers may be limited by date, service type, usage conditions, or availability, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.
Late cancellations may incur a reasonable cancellation fee where time has been reserved, travel has been arranged, or costs have already been incurred.
Refund or remedy requests will be assessed based on the specific circumstances, the service provided, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Inspection and Pre-Existing Condition
We may conduct a visual inspection of your golf clubs and related equipment before and after cleaning or restoration work where reasonably possible.
You acknowledge that golf clubs and accessories may already have:
- scratches
- dents
- worn finishes
- rust
- corrosion
- loose ferrules
- loose heads
- weakened paint
- prior repairs
- hidden defects or wear not immediately visible
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, underlying deterioration, hidden weaknesses, prior poor repairs, or issues that become visible during cleaning, detailing, cosmetic touch-up, transport, or normal handling.
8. Cleaning and Detailing Services
Our detailing services are designed to improve the presentation and cleanliness of your clubs and accessories using methods we consider suitable for the item type and condition.
Detailing may include precision cleaning, grip refresh, buff and polish, and ultrasonic cleaning where applicable.
Important: Cleaning and detailing services are not a restoration service and do not restore clubs to their original, factory, or like new condition. Results will vary depending on the age, wear, material, surface condition, and prior treatment of the clubs. Love Your Clubs makes no guarantee that cleaning will remove all marks, scratches, rust, corrosion, staining, discolouration, or signs of general wear and tear.
Customers should have realistic expectations about the outcome of a cleaning or detailing service. While we take pride in delivering the best possible result for each club, the final presentation is influenced by the existing condition of the item at the time it is received by us.
Ultrasonic cleaning is generally used only where we consider it suitable for the item, its material, and its condition. We reserve the right not to use ultrasonic cleaning if we believe it may not be appropriate for a particular club or component.
By booking a cleaning or detailing service, the customer acknowledges and accepts that the service is not a restoration and that results may vary based on the condition of the clubs at the time of collection.
9. Paint and Line Fill Touch-Up
Where selected, paint and line fill touch-up is a cosmetic add-on service intended to refresh faded numbers, letters and markings.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, standard paint and line fill touch-up:
- is cosmetic only
- is generally limited to black or white touch-up
- applies only to visible numbers, letters and markings
- does not include structural repair
- does not include custom artwork, full repainting, deep restoration, or specialty colour matching unless separately quoted
Results may vary depending on the age, wear, material, surface condition, and prior treatment of the club. While we take care to achieve a neat result, some imperfections may remain, especially on heavily worn, chipped, rusted, corroded, or previously repaired clubs.
Cosmetic touch-up may wear over time through regular play, impact, moisture, bag chatter, friction, transport, or general use.
10. Restoration Services
Where separately agreed, restoration work may include surface cleaning, sanding, etch priming, painting, and optional clear coat finishing.
Restoration does not include structural repair, shaft repair, face repair, crack repair, or performance-related modification unless expressly agreed in writing.
Because restoration work is influenced by the original condition of the club, Love Your Clubs does not guarantee a factory-new finish or an identical colour match unless specifically agreed.
11. Curing and Aftercare
Where paint, refinishing, clear coat, or restoration work has been completed, customers must follow all aftercare instructions provided.
Unless otherwise advised, painted or refinished surfaces should be allowed at least 48 hours to cure from the final coat.
During the curing period, please avoid:
- placing clubs into a golf bag if this may cause rubbing or impact
- using club head covers if they may mark the finish
- exposing clubs to water, heavy moisture, or rough surfaces
- applying direct heat, including hair dryers or heat guns
- stacking or knocking clubs together
Clubs should be stored in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Gentle airflow or normal room-temperature warmth is acceptable.
After care, clubs should be cleaned gently with a soft, damp cloth only. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive products, and stiff brushes on restored or freshly touched-up areas.
12. Care of Property
We take reasonable care in handling golf equipment during cleaning, transport, temporary storage, and return.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss, damage, deterioration, or cosmetic wear arising from:
- pre-existing condition
- hidden defects
- material weakness
- ordinary handling reasonably required to perform the service
- normal wear and tear
- regular use after the item has been returned
- customer failure to follow aftercare instructions
Customers should inspect items before collection and after return and notify us of any concern as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours.
This notification period is intended to help us assess concerns promptly and does not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when booking, including your name, contact details, address, and a reasonable description of the items requiring service.
You must advise us before work begins if you are aware of any unusual club condition, prior repair, damage, loose components, or special care requirements.
You are responsible for removing valuables or personal items from golf bags, trolleys, or related equipment before collection or service.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the re-supply of the relevant service or the reasonable cost of having the relevant service supplied again.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Consumer guarantees for goods and services cannot be excluded by contract, and remedies may include repair, refund, replacement, cancellation or compensation depending on the issue and whether the problem is major or minor.
15. Collection, Delivery and Uncollected Items
Once your golf clubs, bag, shoes, trolley or other items have been serviced, Love Your Clubs will contact you to arrange collection or delivery.
Customers are required to collect their items or arrange delivery within 7 days of being notified that the service has been completed.
If items are not collected, or delivery cannot be arranged within this period, a Relevant Charge of $10 per week will apply from the 8th day onwards to cover reasonable storage and administration costs.
Love Your Clubs responsibility for the condition, quality, and presentation of the service performed is limited to 7 days from the date the customer is notified that their items are ready for collection or delivery. After this period, or once the items have been collected or delivered (whichever comes first), Love Your Clubs accepts no responsibility for any claims relating to the quality, condition, or presentation of the service performed. Customers are encouraged to inspect their items promptly upon collection or delivery and raise any concerns within this 7 day period.
If items remain uncollected after repeated contact attempts, Love Your Clubs may issue formal written notice requesting collection and payment of any outstanding amounts. If the items are still not collected after the notice period required by law, Love Your Clubs may take steps available under applicable Victorian uncollected goods laws to recover outstanding costs, including the Relevant Charge, handling, delivery, service fees and disposal costs.
Any sale, disposal or recovery action will be handled in accordance with applicable laws, including Part 4.2 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Victoria).
16. Use of Website
You agree not to misuse this website, submit false or misleading information, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with website operations, or use this website for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend, restrict, or refuse access to the website or our services where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
17. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, branding, images, logos, graphics, service descriptions, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Elite Sports Cleaning Service trading as Love Your Clubs unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or use our content without prior written permission.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page and will take effect from the date of publication.
Your continued use of our website or services after changes are published indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
